Prototypical Asymmetrics: The Order Sigil
This is the (incomplete) Order Sigil.
The Order Sigil is the Prototypic Asymmetrics Structure that sets the underlying basis and context for the initial establishment as “oneself as oneself.” In particular, The Order Sigil [can] pertain to transgender people of all types, and partially represents a “strategy” for establishing one’s own existence as themselves, unwavering in the eyes, presences, and minds of detractors/opposition - or I suppose, this is what it means, to me.
It is a system, a memetic device. The Order Sigil in particular establishes some of the groundwork for both the individual, and the collective, particularly within the triangle.
More specifically, this is two shapes intertwined: A triangle, and a circle, the sum of which is called a “Substructure”, and specifically, this one [substructure] is called “The Omnipresent Trichotomy,” or “The OT.”
This is the most basic that any substructure can get, and generally speaking, represents all other Sigils: this one in particular, being the first, and this being the introduction to this concept - this substructure, the OT, represents The Order Sigil, though without labelling, it is totally incomplete.
The OT doesn’t *have* to represent The Order Sigil, however - it could represent any other type of substructure within Asymmetrics that uses the OT, and thus, becomes the representative symbol of Asymmetrics in general.
The Order Sigil is important in the sense that it is the initial establishment of all other structures at play within Asymmetrics at the “Prototypical” level - the foundational tier which provides a base for other tiers such as Tactical Asymmetrics and Secure Asymmetrics. Sigils can be found within all three levels of Asymmetrics, be it Prototypical, Tactical, or Secure.
What changes is the content - proper understanding of Asymmetrics entails that one is able to correctly identify where a sigil should fall under, or where a structure can be categorized.
Of course, the OT is again, a Structure, an incomplete Order Sigil, and in order to complete it, it requires multiple parts.
For learning purposes, we’ll consider “The Order Sigil” to be the example.
Substructure I: The Mast
The Mast is the “header” or “title” of the completed Order Sigil. It is always placed at the top of the Sigil, full-width, and always reads “ORDER,” in large text. For all completed Sigils, the title is always the Mast. The <$mast> Sigil entails that <$mast> is what is placed within The Mast of the completed Sigil.
The Mast is important, because it clearly identifies what the Sigil is to be used for, or what it pertains to.
Sigils within use at the Prototypical level should, at times, attempt to use single, double, or triple syllable Masts - AND/OR should be five letter words.
After this is written, place a large dividing line, either full-width across the canvas, or one that stops just before the edges of the canvas.
The Mast is relative to S, The Seen.
Substructure II: The Omnipresent Trichotomy
Place this below the dividing line.
Start by drawing an upside-down triangle, with a circle partially within/around it, like is pictured at the top of this article.
The Triangle is the strongest shape. It’s phenomenon of existence has been studied far and wide, employed in the use of building strong structures, physical and virtual, bridges and foundations, and thus, the Equilateral triangle composes the first portion of The OT.
The Triangle represents the individual (yourself).
The Circle is the second portion of the OT. The Circle itself represents “(your) presence” as it pertains to both the individual, and the collective.
Substructure III: The Points
The Points represent the first actual trichotomy within the OT, and are labelled on the points of the triangle. For the Order Sigil, The Points are: U, S, P - labelled clock-wise.
U…..S
….P
The Points pertain to The Individual, whom is represented by the triangle.
Point I: U, The Unseen: Your voice. Things about you that are unseen. Things about you that are perceived in your presence. Sounds you make, music you play or create, the things that you physically say - the unseen comes from within, comes from you, and is perceived in your presence, but is not seen. Your attitude.
Point II: S, The Seen: The way you look. The clothes you wear, the color of your eyes, your posture, the way you walk, hygiene, cosmetics and accessories.
Point III: P, The Perceived: The way that you are remembered, or thought of in people’s minds, when you are not within their presence. Things that make someone think of you. Symbols, patterns, interactions. Things that you have finished. Things that you have constructed, and created. Tangible modifications to your environment. Things attributed to you.
Substructure IV: The Curved Struts
The Curved Struts are the sides of the triangle, paired with the border of the circle. The Curved Struts are S, MA, and DA. Start by labelling the top strut as S, and then move counter-clockwise to label the leftmost strut as MA, and the rightmost strut as DA.
…..S
MA…..DA
The curved struts represent the collective in true unity. This is all of us - be that humanity, or within the context of the Order Sigil specifically, all transgender people. All transitioning people, living or not living.
Top Strut: S, Solidarity.
Leftmost Strut: MA, Mutual Aid.
Rightmost Strut: DA, Direct Action.
This is as simple as it is important. Though strengthening the individual is truthfully important, and while the individual is capable of great things, at our core, the collective is what we have, and what we will have if all material possessions slip our grasp.
It should be noted that there is no particular barrier to entry for what is represented as the “collective” - all transgender people are a part of it, regardless. If they exist, they are a part of it.
Place a dividing line below.
Substructure V: The Transmission
Just beyond that dividing line:
Correct transmissions are 5 syllable, or 7 syllable phrases. The Order Sigil uses the following 5-syllable transmission: “Blessed be thy flame.”
Bles-sed-be-thy-flame.
Transmissions should always be a unique, and special phrase, that hold great meaning to the Sigil,
An example of a 7-syllable Transmission is the [undeveloped] Individual Victory Sigil within Tactical Asymmetrics: “Never will I meet my match.”
Ne-ver-will-I-meet-my-match.
Transmissions should be something like an incantation, easily spoken, remembered by voice.
The Transmission is relative to U, The Unseen.
Place a dividing line below.
Substructure VI: The Sacrifice Code
Just beyond the dividing line:
Sacrifice Codes are a unique, 4-character, alphanumeric string, for each sigil.
Sacrifice Codes don’t have to sum to 9, but this one does, and I find it important. 1125 being the Sacrifice Code for the first Sigil makes it somewhat important, so perfect numerical symmetry was taken into consideration (to be honest, it’s just how it came to be. 1125’s natural occurrence in nature and it’s summing to 9 is probably pretty special.)
1125 was also picked for its relevance to spacetime, the events centric to it set the stage for the necessity of the Order Sigil. Without 1125, there is no need for the Order Sigil.
When picking a Sacrifice Code, one should pick one that holds special purpose to the Sigil - not one that is random. For Sigils that will be accessible by the broader collective of people, pick a sacrifice code that can be explained, or perhaps matters to everyone. For a personal sigil, pick whatever you’d like.
The Sacrifice Code is relative to P, The Perceived.
And thus, the completed Order Sigil looks like this:
It looks really authoritative. But it really only is if you understand it like that.
The completed Order Sigil, and by extension, all other Sigils within Asymmetrics at any level, function like a unique repository for a concept of information. Like a QR code for the brain - there is a vast wealth of information that can be stored in a Sigil - an entire system within systems, within systems.
A big-character poster is similar to the purpose that a completed Sigil is serving, in a way.
This is a data-packet, an instruction set, a manual, documentation, a QR, a memetic device. Within Prototypical Asymmetrics, it is a tool. Within Tactical Asymmetrics, a weapon. Within Secure Asymmetrics, a defensive position.
Other Use/Technical Data:
Aspect Ratio for a proper Sigil is 1:2. So, two instagram photos stacked on top of one another.
You don’t have to use the OT for every sigil, but I recommend that you use shapes that have a number of sides divisible by three. Asymmetrics tends to work best when using numbers divisible by three.
You can add as many trichotomies or labelsets as necessary to whatever shapes you decide to use. In particular, using the OT enables you to just keep infinitely nesting triangles within triangles. Technically, the collective labelsets of the Order Sigil, despite being labelled along the Curved Struts, is another triangle/trichotomy nested within the OT’s first individual level. This is done with the idea in mind that one’s link/relation to the broader collective comes from within.
Asymmetrics (or perhaps the Order Sigil in particular?) is a means by which one de-noises an information environment, thus, Sigils are a de-noisification measure. De-noising an information environment is a means by which one obtains clarity in general. Be that clarity of purpose, or a particular situation.
The term ‘Asymmetrics’ as a title refers to the inherent ‘Asymmetry’ between all (forms of) information. Asymmetry between particles of noise - de-noisification entails bringing things into alignment.
Noisification, or the noising of an information environment is something that is both a method of tactical obfuscation, and also that which we seek to prevent in information environments. It’s an exploitation vector of information and it’s environments itself. Much like weather, it occurs naturally. Unlike weather, it can occur deliberately.
There are many questions that remain unanswered/noisified environments, and not everything is uncovered by the Order Sigil, or uncovered by Asymmetrics in general. It is an infinitely expanding system of analysis and de-noisification. Other (undeveloped) Sigils cover the concept of the “infinite/endless struggle” of de-noisification. Asymmetrics in and of itself is always aware that it can never keep up with both the creation of new information, and the (re-)noisification of it.
