BT005: CTIS Seamless ARLIL Connector (Pt. 1 - Introduction)
Before the brutal, antagonistic re-working of the borders of the poorer Zone-3 and the wealthier Zone-2, an attempt was made to bridge the physical space between two grimy Western cities.

Part 1: Introduction
In the initial, earlier days of The Triumvirate, SPRAWL, and the Pacific States, even prior to North America transitioning back to North America, sometime after Formation Day, in the 2050’s, prior to the further adjustments made to the boundaries of ZONE-3 and 2, SLABTOWN-3 and PACIFICA-2 were two accessible population centers for anyone living below Zone 3.
A major effort was put in place by infrastructural design TCC’s (TriConglomerate Corporations) to attempt to field the first attempt at bridging, seamlessly, a physical geographical space between Slab-3, and Pac-2. For comparison, the space between PACIFICA-2, and SLABTOWN-3, is almost equidistant as the modern-day equivalent of the distance between San Francisco, and Portland.
In historical versus current affairs context, SLABTOWN-3 exists within ZONE-3, which is now closed off to anyone living below ZONE-3, except for EIGS-tagged citizens on official business of their respective employer, authorized via their TriConglomerate. Citizens of Zones 3 and 4, are permitted access to lower zones.
Very early on in the rapid upwards development of the SprawlStates’ population centers, and the quick inwards influx of migration out of necessity to those centers, it was theorized that overpopulation and overcrowding would begin to become a problem much quicker, than initially perceived, within Zone-2, due to a very large majority of citizens of the Pacific States’ population living within Zone-2.
Development, growth, construction, manufacturing, among other industries, all simultaneously exploded, to meet the demand of the sudden effort that went underway, in order to properly construct parts of these population centers - to include, development on SPRAWL, itself - the core, underlying system that makes the entire concept of living in and interacting with a tactile and responsive physical place, and infrastructure, along with networked cyberspace, all integrated with society. SPRAWL runs all data systems within the city’s infrastructural grid, from door controls, to escalators, to social systems integrated with the physical experience of existing within the city to make person to person interaction far more convenient.
The CTIS Seamless ARLIL Connector was quickly conceptualized, planned, designed, and constructed by ‘BAUFIRMA SUVO’, the large corporation responsible for a massive drone-based construction fleet, contained within The Triumvirate’s ‘Infrastructure Development’ TriConglomerate. Colloquially known as ‘TC-ID.’
The full nomenclature is ‘The CasTrans InterSprawl Augmented Reality Load-In Layer Connector.’ CasTrans is the term for Cascadian Transit, the autonomous public transit system among the Pacific States.
